This project was built using the MERN Stack. Mongo is used to store various data models, and react manages the view and all client side routing. Future enhancements will include Passport Auth and Server Side Rendering.

I built this project using react JS, and the Spotify API. I used the npm module Axios to make async calls to Spotify and load data in react state. State is becoming unmanageable so next steps are to add Redux to manage reacts state.

This project using pure jQuery and the various AJAX methods that come with jQuery to pull random news articles from the open source news API. Future enhancements include affiliate network markeing on each news link and social media marketing.

This project was built using React JS. NPM was used to install various dependencies such as Watchify, Browserify, and Babelify to compile JSX code in to JavaScript. These components can all be standalone dashboard modules.

I built this project using pure JS, Jquery, and the Github API. I used Jquery's powerful AJAX function to pull down JSON data from GitHub and dynamically display it in a view. I also built a JavaScript cache for performance.

Very first MEAN stack project! Pair programmed using ScreenHero for 3 months. The app scrapes the YouTube API and allows users to add, delete, and save captions. Used Node Hackathon Starter framework. Prepping for open source.

I built fitty to showcase some of the principles I learned during my Ruby on Rails studies. I included some of the common Rails gems like Devise, Simple Forms, Bootstrap-Rails, Postgres. The app is deployed to Heroku.

This simple Angular app uses Angular's $routeProvider to control the routing of email links. It also uses the $http function to pull down JSON from an email API service. I created a gh-pages branch and hosted this on github pages.

Bassy is a Ruby on Rails project to display album covers and song tracks for various artists. I utilized the Rails db:seed command to seed the Postgres database with data and created all the MVC for the app. The app is hosted on Heroku.

Goodweather was a great simple yet functional way to practice using Jquery mobile and the forecast.io api. Pure Jquery in action! This was a great Codecademy project to learn new ways to manipulate the DOM with Jquery. Twitclone uses some very basic event handlers and functions to update user statuses. It also uses the jQuery remove and append methods.

This project from Team Treehouse.com was a good Angular.js walkthrough. I was able to connect the Dribbble api and pull in JSON data for the various images displaying. Dabbble requried writing controllers, directvies, filters, and services in an Angular app.
